Carolyn Posey, age 67 of Winder, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 12 PM Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Jake Davis & Rev. Calvin Gooch will officiate. Burial at Luxomni Baptist Church Cemetery, Lilburn. Mrs. Posey was a member of Center Union Baptist Church, Braselton. She was preceded in death by her mother, Allie McGehee. Mrs. Posey is survived by Husband: James E. Posey, Winder; Children: Johnny & Nadine Posey, Braselton, Donna & Marty Gibson, Bethlehem; Pamela & Bobby Rogers, Auburn; Debbie & Steve Lacy, Jefferson; Brother & Sister-in-law: Donnie & Ann McGehee, Elijay; Sisters: Beth Meyers & Clara Burney; 12 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; & a large extended family. The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 4PM and 6 PM to 9 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Rd. SW, Lawrenceville, Ga. 30046. 770-962-3100.
