LAWRENCEVILLE -- Greater Atlanta Christian finished first and host Mountain View took third at the Mountain View Duals.
The Spartans (19-1) dominated the competition all day, winning all five of their matches. They defeated Central (58-10), Norcross (68-3), Buford (64-12), Alcovy (61-12) and Whitewater (42-24) in the championship.
Parker Fair (220-pounds) stayed undefeated on the season with five pins to up his record to 19-0. Also going undefeated on the day were Kyle Polite (106) with three pins, Carter Clinebell (120) with four pins, Parker Embry (132), Ethan Tolbert (160) with four pins, Zach Feuerback (170) with four pins and Hunter Martin (195) with three pins.
The Bears (11-4) beat Northview (60-6), Monroe-Area (60-18) and West Hall (48-30) before losing to Whitewater (37-27). They rebounded in the third-place dual, defeating Alcovy (42-24).
Going undefeated on the day were Adam Flatt (106) with five pins, Tony Torres (126) with four pins, Jake Gandara (160) with three pins and Jamal Tull (220) with five pins. Sterling Pyles (145) also went 4-1 on the day.
Parkview 16th in South Carolina
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Parkview finished in the middle of the pack at the Southern Slam Traditional Invitational.
Top finishers for the Panthers were Khalil Shakur (160) and Harrison Schmid (195) with fourth-place finishes, while An Zu (113) and Kamaal Shakur (132) both finished sixth.
Meadowcreek goes 1-3
WOODSTOCK -- The Mustangs (7-6) went 1-3 on the day at the Georgia Pain Treatment Duals at Woodstock High School.
Meadowcreek beat North Cobb (40-39), but lost to St. Francis on the ninth criteria (points in the first period). The Mustangs also lost to Woodstock (48-33) and Johns Creek (54-19). The Mustangs had five wrestlers go undefeated on the day. DeWayne Harris (106) had four pins, while Rene Deluna (126) had three pins, and Ryan Moore (182) and Victor Truong (195) each got two pins. O.G. Harden (170) also went undefeated.
Mill Creek 56, Wesleyan 42
NORCROSS -- After hitting nine 3-pointers, Mill Creek (4-0) outlasted Class A No. 4 Wesleyan.
The Hawks, who are shooting better than 50 percent from deep on the season, got 19 points from Paul Evans in the winning effort. Daniel Loudermilk added 10 points while Daniel Braschler had 10 points and nine rebounds.
Shane Smith led the Wolves (1-3) in the losing effort with 16 points.
Buford 68, North 63
KENNESAW -- The Wolves (2-3) got 21 points from Isaiah Williams and 11 points from Brad Mapes in the winning effort at Kennesaw State.
Chris Bolden had 19 points in the losing effort for the Bulldogs (0-4).
Shiloh 61, Archer 49
SNELLVILLE -- The No. 6 Generals (4-0, 2-0) stayed undefeated with a win over region-rival Archer as Jordan Gaither and Robert Carter each had 19 points.
Aubrey Overby had 14 points for Archer (2-3, 1-1).
Central 66, Parkview 47
LILBURN -- Central upped its record to 4-1 on the season as Darius Joell scored 13 points and Justin Mouton scored 12 in the win.
Andre Chatfield led the Panthers (1-6, 0-2) with 22 points.
Berkmar 66, Brookwood 48
LILBURN -- The No. 8 Patriots (2-1, 1-1) rebounded after their first loss of the season to beat Brookwood. Adonai Rogers led the charge with 17 points, while Tim Rowe had 15 points and seven rebounds.
Malcolm Hannah had 11 points in the losing effort for the Broncos (2-2, 0-2).
Apalachee 60, Hebron 57, OT
BETHLEHEM -- The Wildcats (2-1) got 11 points from Austin Miller and seven assists from Qua Cleveland in the win. Tyler Matthews had 16 points, while Tyler Skidgel had 11 for Hebron (1-3).
Dacula 65, Grayson 34
GRAYSON -- Bryson Burlong scored 19 points and Jaylen Williams added 14 points as Dacula dismantled Grayson (1-1, 0-1).
Dacula (3-2, 1-1) also got 10 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks from Anthony Morse.
Centennial 59, Meadowcreek 46
NORCROSS -- The Mustangs (0-2) dropped their second game in as many nights, falling to the Knights. Quenton McBride led Meadowcreek with 10 points, while Anthony Hall had eight points and nine rebounds.
Dacula 51, Grayson 35
GRAYSON -- Kendelle Culpepper had 12 points, and Joni Weatherspoon had 11 points and eight rebounds to lead Dacula (2-3, 1-1) in the win.
Tiara James had 10 points for Grayson (0-2, 0-1) in the losing effort.
Archer 47, Shiloh 19
SNELLVILLE -- The Tigers (4-1, 2-0) won their fourth-straight game as Kayla Rogers had 16 points and four steals to lead the effort.
Madison Newby also had 15 points and four steals in the winning effort, while Danicka Brown had six rebounds.
For Shiloh (1-2, 0-2), Rachel Cranston had six points.
Brookwood 55, Berkmar 50
LILBURN -- The No. 10 Broncos (3-4, 2-0) held on in the end to defeat the Patriots.
Courtney Gardner led the team with 19 points, while Rebecca Walker had 18 points and 10 blocks.
Daijah Cooke had 14 points and Gaisela Padilla had 10 in the losing effort for Berkmar (1-1, 1-1), while Jazmine Green had 14 rebounds.
Parkview 57, Central 31
LILBURN -- Genesis Perrymond had 15 points, while Erika Joseph had 11 and McKenna Puengue had 10 as the Panthers (6-0, 2-0) stayed undefeated on the season, beating Central (0-5, 0-2).
