Robert F. "Gunny" Taylor age 76 of Loganville passed away August 30, 2011. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert. Gunny was a member of the VFW and served his beloved country retiring in the U S Marine Corps. Surviving are his wife, Julie of 55 years; daughter and son-in-law, Jill & Steve Knestaut, Loganville; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael & Lucinda Taylor, Laurel, MD, Richard & Patricia Taylor, Marietta, Christopher & Ashley Taylor, Loganville; sister, Amy Barker, Ft Smith Arkansas; brothers, Joe Taylor, Flint, MI, Claude Taylor, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Christine, Aaron, Katlin, Shea, Michael, Alyx, Cassie, Cash and Chase; and many friends. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, September 2, 2011 in Eternal Hills Chapel. Interment with Military Honors, Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday 5 to 8 pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, 770-972-3155.
