PREP ROUNDUP: Hill continues dominance for Brookwood

SNELLVILLE -- Rachel Hill extended her season-long winning streak to seven by allowing no earned runs in Brookwood's 8-2 win over Lassiter on Wednesday. Hill (7-0) pitched a complete game and allowed five hits.

Jenny Blackwell led the Broncos' bats with two hits and an RBI.

Taiylor Rinehart added a hit, two runs and an RBI for Brookwood (15-1). Taylor Sexton, Daniella Ulloa, Megan Litumbe and Brandi Jones each had a hit and a run.

SOFTBALL

Dacula 4, Winder-Barrow 3

WINDER -- Dacula held off Winder-Barrow 4-3 Wednesday. Brittany Taylor and Lexi McKnight each went 1-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Falcons (6-8). Kristan Lizardi had a hit and a run scored.

Keelie Waugh (4-6) picked up the win. She pitched a complete game, allowing six hits to go with six strikeouts.

Providence 8,

Forsyth Central 6

CUMMING -- Providence pounded out 15 hits, including three each from Brittany Tuttle and Bethany Smith, in an 8-6 win over Forsyth Central on Wednesday. Tuttle and Smith also knocked in a run for the Stars (8-6). Tuttle stole two bases. Bri Canady and Katy Barry each had two hits and two RBIs. Jessie Kowalewicz was 2-for-4 with three runs, while MacKenzie Tuttle was also 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Canady (6-5) pitched a complete game to get the win. She allowed 10 hits and struck out three.

Central 7, Berkmar 6

LAWRENCEVILLE -- Central Gwinnett held off Berkmar 7-6 in a non-region game Wednesday. Kaitlin Hussey picked up the win for the Black Knights.
