Harold William Brooks
Harold William Brooks "Pop", age 86 of Snellville, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Rosebud Baptist Church, Loganville. Rev. Lloyd Stancil and Rev. Jason Brooks will officiate. Burial will follow at Lenora Baptist Church Cemetery, Snellville. Mr. Brooks was a retired loading dock foreman with Kysor/Warren. He was a member of Rosebud Baptist Church and a WWII Army Veteran, serving in the 489th Quartermasters division. Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his son, Terry Brooks & great granddaughter, Ruthanne Brooks. He is survived by his Wife of 61 years, Ruby Nell (McCart) Brooks, Snellville; Children: Pat & Julian Moon, Snellville; Rickey & Pam Brooks, Loganville; Greg & Marcia Brooks, Monroe; 12 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Louise Martin, Snellville; Brother & Sister-in-law: Weyman & Opal Brooks, Snellville; Sister-in-law: Vera Brooks, Conyers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Rosebud Baptist Church Building Fund, 1816 Knight Circle, Loganville, GA 30052. Family will receive friends from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 2246 Wisteria Drive, Snellville, GA 30078. 770-979-5010.
