Win Win Blu-ray (R)Movie: 3 out of 4 stars
Disc: 2 out of 4 stars
The pairing of one of independent film's best directors (Thomas McCarthy) and its premier leading man (Paul Giamatti) resulted in expected greatness with the movie going far beyond its surface sports drama limitations. A small-town lawyer with big-time cash flow problems, Mike (Giamatti) is able to distract himself somewhat by coaching the local high school wrestling team.
The team goes from worst to first with the arrival of Kyle (newcomer Alex Shaffer), a phenomenal athlete who seeks escape but could also prove to be Mike's downfall. Considering the great care that went into the film, the bonus features are only average at best.

French and Spanish (Dolby Digital 5.1) subtitles: English SDH, Spanish.
