Chandler -- Bilton

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Browning Chandler Jr. of Suwanee announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Browning Chandler of Dallas, to James Harlan Bilton of Dallas, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Harlan Bilton of Dallas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ganell Chandler of Suwanee, Doris Smith of Coolidge, the late Richard Chandler and the late Franklin I. Smith. She is a graduate of North Gwinnett High School and the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in marketing. She is employed with Branded Retail Energy Company in Dallas as vice president of marketing and communications.

The future groom is the grandson of Nora Katherine Bilton of Dallas, the late William S. Bilton and the late Charles D. and Chapyne Goforth. He is a graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory School and Southern Methodist University, where he received a bachelor's degree in politicl science. He is also a graduate of the University of Texas, where he received a juris doctorate. He is employed with Locke Lord Bissell and Liddell LLP in Dallas as an attorney.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 3 in Atlanta.
