DULUTH -- A 22-mile bicycle ride will join members of the 5th Honor Ride Team and Wounded Warriors as they complete the final leg of the 5th Honor Ride honoring Special Operations Forces as part of Operation One Voice.
The kick-off event begins at 8 a.m. Sept. 10 at Duluth City Hall, 3167 Main St. The ride ends at Peachtree Point at Lake Lanier Islands Resort.
Cyclists will need to arrange for their own pick up. Parking will be available at 3925 Pleasant Hill Road in the old Ingle's parking lot.
According to its website, Operation One Voice is a program designed by police officers, firefighters and community leaders "to raise funds to help support the immediate needs of children and families of wounded and fallen Special Operations Forces."
