HOSCHTON -- Mill Creek's Nikki Sagermann hit for the cycle, scored four runs and drove in four more as the Hawks knocked off Northside-Columbus 9-5 in the Hawk-Bulldog Tournament. Sagermann completed the cycle by homering in her last at-bat. Jessica Grimes picked up her first win for Mill Creek (2-1-1) by going five innings and allowing five hits, while striking out one and walking two. Lauren Bennett was also a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a double, triple and two RBIs. Chandler Griffin went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBIs and a stolen base.

HOSCHTON -- Andie McGregor had a game-winning double to score Kendra Purifoye as Peachtree Ridge defeated Grayson 2-1. Winning pitcher Sarah Walker (2-1) went seven innings and allowed just one run and struck out five. Walker also went 1-for-3 for the Lions, who improved to 6-2. Maiah Johnson led the Peachtree Ridge offense with a 1-for-3 day at the plate with two stolen bases and a run scored. Chandler Frisbie was also 1-for-3 for the Lions.

North Gwinnett 0
HOSCHTON -- North Gwinnett (2-2) dropped a 1-0 decision to Houston County in the Hawk-Bulldog Tournament. Alaina Hall picked up the tough-luck loss in the circle for the Bulldogs despite limiting Houston County to just four hits and one run while striking out eight. Emily Wood produced the only North hit to break up the Houston County no-hit bid.
Mountain View splits two at Hawk-Bulldog Tournament
HOSCHTON -- Mountain View split a pair of games, shutting out Buford 9-0 and falling 4-3 to West Laurens. Hannah Seagriff got the complete-game victory against Buford and struck out three along the way. Seagriff also went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI. Sammie Daugherty went 2-for-4 with two RBIs while Taylor Miller was 2-for-4 and Taylor Whitsel was 1-for-3 for 2 RBIs. Miller went 3-for-4 in the second game against West Laurens, while Seagriff took the loss in the circle for the Bears (4-6).

HOSCHTON -- Buford rebounded from its loss to Mountain View with a convincing 11-0 win in five innings over South Forsyth at the Hawk-Bulldog Tournament. Bria Bush got her first win for Buford (2-3) and went the distance, while allowing just two hits, a walk and striking out nine. Lexi Overstreet led the explosive Wolves' offense by going 2-for-2 with a double, home run and four RBIs. Kallie Case was 3-for-3 with a triple, three stolen bases and three runs scored and teammate Madyson Wynegar was 3-for-4 with three runs scored. Alexis Baldy added a 2-for-3 day at the plate with two RBIs.
