Duluth Job seekers are expected to pack the Gwinnett Center Thursday, as the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Business Expo and Job Fair.
More than 200 companies will exhibit their services and wares, while seeking qualified talent and cultivating new business,
The expo and job fair kick off at noon, with free educational seminars beginning at 1:15 p.m. Registration is required to attend the job fair.
Also at noon, Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens will speak at the Chamber's general membership meeting and luncheon. That is the only portion of the event where participants pay -- $45 for Chamber members and $55 for non-members.
For the first time, the expo will include a silent auction, where participants must obtain 'credits' by visiting booths to bid on items.
Prizes include the use of a Gwinnett Braves suite, an overnight stay at Lake Lanier's Legacy Lodge, a pair of sideline season tickets to the Georgia Force, a golf foursome at The River Club, Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Family Fun Packs and more.
