Info file: After battling a rare immune disorder last summer, Alexander came back in the Game 6 to lead Buford to a fourth straight state championship. The big offensive lineman is a three-year starter for the Wolves and has been tabbed the state's top offensive linemen by recruiting services. Alexander's presence on the line is a reason why the Wolves are favored to win an unprecedented fifth-straight state title.
Coach Jess Simpson's take: "Just his intangibles are what make him good. His work ethic. To be a big guy, the way he moves around. He's a worker. Our kids understand running and lifting is important, but developing your skill set as a player, everybody has to have certain skill set and that has to improve for you to be an effective player."
