Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation has scheduled the annual Pinckneyville Craft Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 20 at Pinckneyville Park's Medlock Pavilion.

The craft market is free to attend.

Jewelry, pottery, paintings and other arts and crafts will be available for purchase from local artisans.

In its seventh year, Koren Wheeler said the event is "worth the trip.

"The artistry is truly remarkable," said Wheeler, program supervisor at Pinckneyville Park Community Recreation Center. She added that the craft market will showcase a "variety of unique pieces."

The gathering, she said, will also include a craft area for kids, food vendors and door prizes.

The craft market will be held at 4758 South Old Peachtree Road in Norcross. For more information or to become a vendor, call 770-417-2200.
