ATLANTA — Authorities say the number of Waffle House robberies in the past two weeks is now 18.
On Friday, the Waffle House at U.S. 78 and Rockbridge Road near Stone Mountain in Gwinnett County was robbed at gunpoint, according to Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Edwin Ritter. Police say they're hunting a pair of suspects they consider serial robbers who have struck the restaurants in DeKalb, Gwinnett, Henry and Clayton counties along with the cities of Doraville and Norcross, police said.
