SUWANEE -- The city of Suwanee will kick off its annual Rock and Jock festival on Saturday.
The free concert event will also serve as a pep rally of sorts for local high school teams, with festivities beginning at 5 p.m. at Town Center Park, 330 Town Center Ave.
Musical performances will begin at 6 p.m. with Gasoline Bros., an Atlanta-based band that offers "classic country with great stories and played with the hammer down." Memphis rock trio Ingram Hill will play at 7 p.m. before headliner Better Than Ezra takes the stage about 8 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. No alcohol may be brought into the park, though food and beverages -- including beer and wine -- will be available for purchase.
