LILBURN -- Evening storms rolling through Lilburn kept firefighters busy responding to a number of calls Friday, including a pair of trees the fell on houses.
At about 8:30 p.m., Gwinnett County firefighters reported to the 4300 block of Hale Drive, finding a fallen tree and limbs penetrating through the roof of the home, spokesman Capt. Tommy Rutledge said. Crews secured the area and requested the power company due to possible wires down on the house.
No injuries were reported.
About 10 minutes later, Rutledge said, crews responded to the 700 block of Killian Hill Road, finding trees and wires down on two neighboring houses, Rutledge said. Two separate pine trees split and punctured the roof of one home, while limbs of a single tree damaged the roof of the other.
No injuries were reported, and residents were not displaced, Rutledge said.
