James Mcdougal

James F. McDougal, 69 of Duluth, passed away August 2, 2011 in Duluth Georgia. Jim was born on March 4, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, to Fred W. McDougal and Dolores (Rudloff) McDougal of Lansing, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother John W. McDougal of Lansing, IL. Jim is survived by his wife Susanne (Taylor) McDougal, his children Brian McDougal and wife Brannyn, of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Sandra Williams and husband Michael, of Canton, Georgia.; and grandchildren, Grace, Jacob and Lucas Williams. Jim is also survived by his brother, Steve McDougal and Sister-in-law, Gwen McDougal, of Lansing, IL, nephews Andrew McDougal, David McDougal, and nieces Wendy McDougal and Marci Lukis and husband Jason. Jim graduated from Fenger High School in Chicago IL., and served in the US Army. Jim worked as a telephone systems engineer for AT&T retiring after 33 years of service. In retirement he was known best for his business as the "Neighborhood Handyman" where he indulged his passion for the outdoors and shared his talents to help others improve their surroundings. His hard working nature, dry sense of humor and love for his family will be forever missed. Visitation will be held 4pm to 6pm with a funeral service at 6pm on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Bill Head Funeral Home, 3088 Highway 120, Duluth, Ga. 30096.
