ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Willie Hunt scored his first goal of the season to get the Silverbacks their first points of the year in a 1-1 draw with FC Tampa Bay on Saturday.
Hunt put the Silverbacks (0-3-1, 1 point) up 1-0 in the 45th minute on an assist from Mario Perez. But Tampa Bay's Mike Ambersley kept the Silverbacks from winning with an unassisted goal off a deflection in the 74th minute.
Atlanta came away with the point on the road despite being outshot 20-10 and winning only one corner kick to Tampa Bay's 12.
