LAWRENCEVILLE — The Gwinnett County State Court is offering a one-time deal for those with outstanding misdemeanor probation warrants.
While terms and conditions will apply, the court is offering to recall bench warrants that are due to failure to pay fines and costs or failure to comply with other probation conditions. The court said that people will not be arrested during the period between May 1 and June 30 if they begin reporting and complete the terms of their probation. In cases where only fines and fees need to be paid, probation will be terminated upon payment. Probationers must contact Nicki Long of Southeast Corrections between the above dates to find out if they qualify. Long can be reached at 404-410-2555, extension 1003.More like this story
