Cory Miller, a 2006 South Gwinnett grad, has signed a professional contract with the Carolina Railhawks of the North American Soccer League. The Railhawks play locally against the Atlanta Silverbacks on June 25.
Miller, whose older brother Ryley was a state champion runner at South who later ran for Georgia, played college soccer from 2006-09 at Olivet Nazaren in Bourbonnais, Ill. The 6-foot-3 defender completes his college education later this month and then will join the Railhawks full-time.More like this story
