Four-year Grayson starter Rachel McElroy will be signing a scholarship to play softball at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus today.
McElroy, a right fielder, has helped the Rams make the state tournament three times in her high school career and was selected as the team’s best defensive player this season. An all-county honorable mention the last two years, McElroy played for three coaches in four seasons at Grayson. She also has been to nationals twice in travel ball. McElroy is the daughter of Laura and Andy McElroy and the granddaughter of Sandra and Michael Beal of Grayson.More like this story
