In honor of Japanese defender Kohei Matsushita, the Atlanta Silverbacks will donate half of all advance ticket sales for Saturday's game against FC Edmonton to relief efforts in Japan.
Other events to celebrate Japanese culture will take place Saturday night at Atlanta Silverbacks Park. The Japanese national anthem will be sung prior to the game's 7:30 p.m. kickoff, the Japanese consul general will visit and Atlanta Okinawa Kenjin Kai will give a halftime performance.
For ticket sales to be counted toward the relief effort, they must be purchased on or before Friday. For more information, call 404-969-4900 or visit www.atlantasilverbacks.com.
