Congressman Rob Woodall has been involved this week in the negotiations on the federal budget, which has Republicans and Democrats in a showdown that could lead to a government shutdown.
He’s been keeping constituents in the loop through videos on You Tube, including a two-parter where he explains his take on GOP’s budget roll out. You can view the segments at www.youtube.com/RobWoodallGA07. Meetings with Mike Gwinnett County Commissioner Mike Beaudreau will host his next monthly meeting from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The public event will be held in the Mountain Park Activity Building located at 1063 Rockbridge Road in Stone Mountain. Beaudreau represents District 3, which covers much of eastern Gwinnett, including Snellville, Grayson, Dacula and Auburn. Berlon to headline Barrow event Barrow Democrats will hear next week from Mike Berlon, the state party chairman hoping to reinvigorate the group.
