DULUTH -- Crews will make emergency repairs Sunday on Interstate 85.
Potholes have developed in the three outside southbound lanes of the interstate, a press release said, and crews worked this week to stabilize the area before the weekend job to make it permanent.
On I-85 southbound from Indian-Trail Road to Beaver Ruin Road, the three lanes will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday, so crews can remove the damaged asphalt and rebuild the damaged area. The lanes are scheduled to be opened by 5 a.m. Monday.
