The Touchdown Club of Gwinnett honored the county’s top football performers from early in the season Wednesday night with a banquet at Brookwood High School.
Each of the county’s football programs honored four players for their efforts up to this point. Those honorees are as follows: Archer: Jarvis Holley, Hunter McClesky, Deondre Singleton, Randall Smith Berkmar: Xaviir Briggs, Antonio Dill, Rashaud Lewis, Justin Malone Brookwood: Blake Fussell, Ben McLane, A.J. Sims, Nick Tompkins Buford: Eric Barr, Alex Ross, Ben Sweatt, Tanner West Central Gwinnett: Tray Brown, Ozzie Exume, George Morris, Emmanuel Westmoreland Collins Hill: Jake Banta, Jeff Glover, Taylor Heinicke, Travis Parker Dacula: Baiyembi Abange, Demetri Clark, Matthew Pogue, Dexter Walker Duluth: Justin Dixon, Mark Ruskell, Anfornee Stewart, Xavier Walker GAC: Patrick Corley, Patrick Haberstroh, David Harber, Jared Hemmings Grayson: Garrett Horne, Namdi Ofodile, Michael Peek, Michael Young Hebron: Christian Davila, Matthew Pursell, Lew Stephens, Paul Stinespring Lanier: Onyx Berrios, Brandon Ramos, Kelby Threlkeld, Courtney Witt Meadowcreek: Daryl Dewindt, Rayquan Sam, Anthony Thomas, Richard Williams Mill Creek: Kelsey Griffin, Austin Hagan, Devonte Lewis, A.J. Uzomah Parkview: Kyle Fleetwood, Kenny Flowers, Raphael Kirby, Rob Youngblood Peachtree Ridge: Tanner Botts, Tyler Botts, Jon-Jon Pratt, Angelo Watley Shiloh: Derrick Butts, Amari Ingram, Sam Muse, Joshua Williams South Gwinnett: Joseph Hillin, Richard Shankle, Trevon Walker, Aaron Wimberly Wesleyan: David Andrews, Andrew Frerking, Merritt Hall, Kyle Karempelis Norcross’ Maloof, Grayson’s Conn named all-star coaches Norcross’ Keith Maloof and Grayson’s Mickey Conn have been selected as the head coaches of this year’s Rivalries of Gwinnett All-Star Football Game, the annual postseason showcase for the county’s senior players. Maloof is in his 12th season as Norcross’ head coach, while Conn is in his 11th season at Grayson. This year’s game will be played Dec. 18 at Mountain View. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.More like this story
