TD Club honors team of month

The Touchdown Club of Gwinnett honored the county’s top football performers from early in the season Wednesday night with a banquet at Brookwood High School.

Each of the county’s football programs honored four players for their efforts up to this point. Those honorees are as follows:

Norcross’ Maloof, Grayson’s Conn named all-star coaches

Norcross’ Keith Maloof and Grayson’s Mickey Conn have been selected as the head coaches of this year’s Rivalries of Gwinnett All-Star Football Game, the annual postseason showcase for the county’s senior players.

Maloof is in his 12th season as Norcross’ head coach, while Conn is in his 11th season at Grayson.

This year’s game will be played Dec. 18 at Mountain View. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
