Cross-dressing men charged with prostitution

NORCROSS — Gwinnett police arrested two men posing as female street-walkers near Norcross this week, an official said.

A plainclothes vice investigator encountered the wig-wearing teens in women’s attire on South Norcross-Tucker Road a few minutes after midnight Tuesday. They offered the undercover officer sex in exchange for $60, according to arrest warrants.

Instead, Matthew Hatchett, 19, of Norcross, and Tyrell Hugley, 19, of Baltimore, were taken into custody. Neither put up a fight, police said.

“They presented themselves as women to the investigator,” said Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Brian Kelly. “He did, however, begin to suspect that they were men as soon as they entered the vehicle.”

Both suspects are charged with misdemeanor prostitution. They remained at the Gwinnett County Jail on Wednesday afternoon in lieu of $1,300 bond each.
