Bradley L. Wages, 88, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2010, at his home in Buford. He was born on June 2, 1922 in Hancock County, GA to John Louie and Maybelle Bradley Wages. Bradley proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps as a nose gunner during World War II, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross Award. He was a lifelong resident of Buford after moving here in 1930. Mr. Wages was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved the beach and mountains and loved to read. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Justus Wages, brother Douglas C. Wages, grandson Sam Whiting and son-in-law Frank Greene. Survivors include his daughter Pamela Greene of Snellville, son Chuck Wages of Buford, granddaughter Ashleigh Mullins and husband Derrick of Bishop, GA and great grandchildren Makenzie, Presleigh and Hudson. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm on Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home.
