ATLANTA -- Officials are encouraging people to give their cars a day off this week.
The campaign, which is being pushed by the Clean Air Campaign, Clark Howard and AM 750, is intended to show commuters how they can save more and spend less money on their commutes by trying carpooling, vanpooling, teleworking, taking transit, biking or walking to work.
To find out about commute alternatives and incentives, such as earning $3 a day for switching to transit or carpooling, go to www.cleanaircampaign.com.
