Parkview and Shiloh are the only winless teams left in the Region 8-AAAAA this season.
Both teams started the year against tough non-region opponents, which resulted in losses.

PARKVIEW PANTHERS (8-AAAAA)
■ Coach: Cecil Flowe
■ Record: 0-2, 0-0 region
■ Last week: Had a bye
SHILOH GENERALS (8-AAAAA)
■ Coach: Keith Wilkes
■ Record: 0-3, 0-1 region
■ Last week: Lost to South Gwinnett 45-12
The Generals began region play last week with a loss to South Gwinnett, while Parkview was off.
“Preseason is over. Now is the time to make a move,” Parkview coach Cecil Flowe said. “We need a win terribly.”
Parkview’s offense hasn’t scored this season, so the Panthers spent last week’s bye fine-tuning the offense.
“It’s a combination of penalties and execution,” Flowe said of the offense’s deficiencies. “We’re not executing right now.”
The Panthers’ defense has kept them in ball games and scored the team’s only two TDs this season.
Defensive backs Kyle Fleetwood and Kalin Jones slowed down Norcross’ speedy receivers two weeks ago. Middle linebacker Raphael Kirby has been solid this year with 23 tackles.
If history is any indication then it might be another week before Shiloh picks up a win. The Generals have lost the last 18 meetings against Parkview, dating back to 1992.
“They have talented people,” Flowe said of Shiloh. “They just haven’t put the right plays together in the game.
“There’s a lot of athletes running around.”
■ Last meeting: Parkview won 27-21 last year
