Wilkie, Juanita Nelson, 79, of Lawrenceville, GA, formerly of New Port Richey, FL passed away on September 14, 2010 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, including sister-in-law Merilyn Johnson, and granddaughter Lindsay Foster who were her primary caregivers. Juanita was a member of the St. Pete High School class of '49. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Port Richey in Florida. She was a Realtor with Nelson & Summers Realtors from the early '70s until 1988. She was a member of the Board of Realtors and a sustaining member of the Junior Service League in New Port Richey, FL. She worked in the real estate division of Waffle House in Norcross, GA in the early '90s and then worked for ReMax of Sandy Springs, GA until retiring in 1999. Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was the center of her life. Juanita enjoyed volunteering with the Girl Scouts, school activities, her church, and the American Cancer Society. Juanita is preceded in death by George P. Nelson and Troy Wilkie; her grandson, John F. Kempster, Jr; and brother Amos "Bud" Johnson. She is survived by daughters, Cheryl (Jack) Kempster of Lawrenceville, GA and Lesli Esposito of New Port Richey, FL; grandchildren Lindsay (Wesley) Foster of Stafford, VA and Larry Smith of New Port Richey, FL. She is also survived by two nephews, Bob (Kim) Johnson and Rick (Blanche) Johnson of FL, as well as sister-in-law, Merilyn Johnson of FL. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 16th from 6-9 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mtn Hwy, Snellville, GA, 770-972-3155. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 18th at 12 PM, with visitation at 11 AM, First United Methodist Church of New Port Richey, 5901 Indiana Ave, New Port Richey, FL.
