DULUTH — Police on Wednesday released telling surveillance images of two robbers who bound a video-game store employee with duct tape while pillaging the store last month. Investigators seek public assistance in finding the duo.
The armed men targeted a GameStop on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth on Aug. 31, bound the lone employee and made off with a large quantity of games — enough that they needed a hand truck to cart them out, police said. No customers were involved in the 11:15 a.m. heist, and no injuries were reported. The suspects, described as two black men wearing hats, fled the scene in a full-size white van with double doors at its rear, said Duluth police spokesman Maj. Don Woodruff. Woodruff said it’s not known if the men are suspected in similar robberies or not. Police urge anyone with information to contact Duluth Police Department investigators at 770-476-4151.More like this story
