Mr. Stanley Burel, age 65, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Mercier Burel; son, Craig Burel; daughter, Brittany Burel; parents, Bob and Nell Davis Burel; and brother, Bobby Burel. He is survived by his brothers, Kenneth and Joann Burel, Buford, GA and Douglas and Barbara Burel, Buford, GA; step son Scott Morris, Buford, GA; aunts, Blanche Davis Duncan, Buford, GA and Cammie Davis Duncan, Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Melinda Bunn. Mr. Burel was born September 20, 1944 in Gwinnett County, GA. He received his education at Harmony Elementary and was a 1962 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA. He did automobile detailing. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legionnaires, Buford Post 127. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Winfred Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Arrangements by: Junior E.
