NORCROSS -- A restaurant patron suffered a minor injury Saturday after a vehicle struck a plate glass window at the establishment at 7075 Jimmy Carter Blvd., officials said.
Neither the restaurant patron nor the nature of the injury were disclosed, but authorities said he was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center for evaluation.
The incident happened about 4:15 p.m. Saturday at Grand Buffet, a Chinese restaurant located near the intersection of Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Holcomb Bridge Road in Norcross, Gwinnett County Police Department spokesman Cpl. Edwin Ritter said.
The woman driving the vehicle that hit the window was not injured, said Capt. Thomas Rutledge, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Fire Department.
Her name was not released, and Ritter said it was unknown if she would face any charges.
No structural elements or load-bearing walls of the building were damaged in the crash, Rutledge said.
