LAWRENCEVILLE — A new neighborhood bistro is now open at The Avenue Webb Gin.
Gary’s Bistro was set to open its doors Friday, serving up dishes made with fresh and organic ingredients procured from local farmers’ outlets. Menu items include bruschetta, stuffed dates, fried green tomatoes and mozzarella and roasted thyme chicken. The menu also includes a variety of beef, lamb and seafood entrées. Gary’s Bistro is family owned by local attorney Gary Martin Hays, his wife Sheri and three daughters, Audrey, Ashleigh and Ava. In addition to being locally owned, Gary’s Bistro will be managed under the direction of executive chef and operator Tess Sanek, who studied culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu.
