Kristina Higgins and Matthew Swatzell
David and Carol Higgins of Dacula announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Higgins of Dacula, to Matthew Swatzell of Dacula, son of Mark and Holly Swatzell of Lawrenceville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Silas and Billie Higgins of Dacula, Gene and Elzonia Willis of Bremen and the late Billy Peppers. She is a graduate of Dacula High School and a graduate of Georgia College and State University, where she received a degree in special education. She is employed with Snellville Middle Scool as a special education teacher. The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Harris of Douglasville, the late Jean Roberts, the late Bill Branch and the late Joe Swatzell. He is a graduate of Dacula High School. He is employed with Gwinnett County as a firefighter and EMT. The wedding is planned for Sept. 18 at The Georgia Club.More like this story
