Dr. Rachel Ann Biemiller and Lt. Kent Adam Stein were married June 5 in Duluth. The Rev. Joe Evens and Deacon Mike Byrne officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Carl and Patricia Biemiller of Lilburn. She is a 2001 graduate of Parkview High School, a 2005 graduate of Auburn University and a 2009 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. She is serving her residency in neurology at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y.
The groom is the son of Gary and Beth Stein of Monticello, Ind. He is a 2000 graduate of Lafayette Central Catholic High School and a 2004 graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy. He is serving in the National Oceanic Commissioned Officer Corps, in Pascagoula, Miss.
Lt. Erin Caldwell, twin sister of the bride, of Anchorage, Ala., served as the matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Hope Bentley of Grayson, The Rev. Melanie Weldon-Soiset of Arlington, Va., Amanda Austin of Augusta, Laura Chustek of Nashville, Tenn., and Virginia Schmidtke of Salisbury, N.C.
Lt. Sweigart of Honolulu served as the groom’s best man.
Groomsmen were Matt Caldwell of Anchorage, Ron Spellman of Vernon, Conn., William Meluch of Lafayette, Ind., Jeff Muller of Indianapolis and Lt. Dan Sporer of Arlington.
After a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple resides in Rochester, N.Y.
