DULUTH — An early morning fire Wednesday damaged a vacant Duluth home in the 3000 block of Kent Court, officials said.
Neighbors reported the split-level home was burning at 1:46 a.m., and firefighters had the blaze under control about 45 minutes later, said Fire Department spokesman Capt. Thomas Rutledge. No one was at the house when the fire department arrived and no injures were reported. The fire caused heavy damage to the attic and roof area over the left-side of the structure, Rutledge said. The house has reportedly been vacant for several months, though the power was still on, Rutledge said. The exact cause is under investigation.More like this story
