North Gwinnett holds 'Pink Out'

SUWANEE — The stands at North Gwinnett’s gridiron clash with Duluth on Friday night were overwhelmingly pink, as football fans and supporters of breast cancer awareness became one during the Bulldogs’ “Pink Out.”

With even the “NG” in the middle of the field painted pink, North Gwinnett helped close out National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by honoring survivors of all types of cancer both before the game and at halftime.

Raffles were held and donations were accepted by Trident Medical Imaging, all to benefit the American Cancer Society as thousands of fans donned pink to support the cause.

Survivors honored also received gifts from Trident at halftime.
