Mr. and Mrs. Steven Longo of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter Valerie Beth Longo, of Alpharetta, to William Samuel Bradford of Alpharetta, son of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Corbin of Cumming and Dr. William Bradford of Reidsville, N.C.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Forgie of Lawrenceville, Elizabeth Longo of Lilburn and the late Sam Longo. She is a 2004 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School, a 2006 graduate of Oxford College of Emory University, and a 2008 graduate of Emory University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance. She is employed with CentriNEt as a marketing coordinator. The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sambol of Donora, Penn., Mr. and Mrs. Bob Corbin of Franklin, N.C., and the late Col. and Mrs. Oscar Bradford. He is a 2004 graduate of South Forsyth High School, a 2006 graduate of Oxford College of Emory University, a 2008 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Emory University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in English and chemistry, and a graduate of University of St. Andrews, where he received a master’s degree in Medieval literature. He is employed at The Weber School as a teacher. The wedding is planned for June 11 in Oxford.More like this story
