NORCROSS — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is offering a reward for information regarding a recent burglary at a Norcross gun dealer.
According to the joint investigation by ATF and Gwinnett County police, a white male suspect entered American Classic Marksman on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard on Sept. 17, making off with three firearms after hours. ATF’s Atlanta division is now offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. “We all have a vested interest in arresting those responsible and recovering these stolen guns,” ATF Atlanta spokesman Jeffery Pearce said. “We know that in many instances stolen firearms end up in the hands of violent criminals who use them in additional crimes. Law enforcement is asking for the public’s assistance in removing these threats from the community.” The suspect entered the gun dealer by crawling through duct work, eventually climbing down from the ceiling of the shooting range before escaping the same way, officials said. Anyone with information is asked to call ATF’s toll-free hotline at 888-ATF-TIPS.More like this story
