Donald Franklin Wagoner of Buford, Georgia passed away October 25, 2010 at 5:43am at the age of 73 from complications related to treatment for non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Preceded by the death of his parents Clarence and Sylvia Wagoner, his brothers Clarence Jr., Harry, Jim, and Bob, and survived by his brother Willie and sisters Mary Clayton and Jean Parsons of Parkersburg, WV. Survived by his wife Lenore Wagoner of Buford, son David Wagoner, his wife Karen and their children Brandon, Austin and Kaitlyn of Lawrenceville, and son Michael Wagoner, his wife Deborah and their children Lily and Norah of Atlanta. Donald is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Donald was a wonderful Husband, Father, and Grandfather, an avid golfer, animal lover and dedicated community volunteer. He proudly served his Country for nine years in the US Navy aboard the USS Salem, USS Jonas Ingram and the USS William R. Rush. At the time of his death, Donald was an integral Staff Member of Gwinnett Technical College. He made a tremendous impact on all who knew him, as well as those who had the pleasure of serving alongside him.
