DULUTH -- Police are receiving minimal cooperation from people involved in a non-fatal Monday night shooting at an apartment complex near Duluth, an official said.
One person was shot in the arm and suffered minor injuries about 10 p.m. at the Madison at Breckinridge apartments in the 3400 block of Breckinridge Boulevard, said Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Edwin Ritter.
Ritter said police who responded were met with conflicting stories and hardly any cooperation from those who remained on scene.
The victim, whose name was withheld, was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe the shooting was retaliation for an earlier fight at an unknown location, Ritter said.
"There were multiple suspects that were victims, and victims that were suspects," he said.
No arrests have been made.
