LAWRENCEVILLE — A local doctor’s office will be helping out those who help them next month, offering a free health fair for the county’s public safety departments.
Cardiovascular Group, located on Walther Road in Lawrenceville, will be hosting its first-ever health fair for Gwinnett County’s police officers, firefighters and other emergency personnel on Nov. 6. Offered to those attending — as well as their adult family members — will be a blood screening (which tests for cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL levels), as well as a heart and vascular ultrasound screening, a 12-lead EKG and a dietary consultant. All tests will be free. Events will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 755 Walther Road, Lawrenceville. To RSVP or for more information, call 678-252-3732.More like this story
