LILBURN -- The man accused of sexually accosting a 14-year-old girl inside a Lilburn Wal-Mart turned himself in to authorities Wednesday night.
David Michael Berusch, 26, was caught on tape after he allegedly groped and slapped the buttocks of the young victim near the cosmetics department of the store on Sept. 1.
Lilburn police released surveillance footage of Berusch on Monday, and a number of tips helped them identify him as the suspect on Tuesday. Spokesman Capt. Bruce Hedley said then that he hoped Berusch would "do the right thing and turn himself in."
Wednesday evening, he did just that, before being transported to Gwinnett County Jail, Hedley said.
Berusch will be charged with felony sexual assault, Hedley said earlier in the week.
