Dacula to host football alumni night Friday Dacula High School will hold its football alumni night on Friday when the Falcons host Grayson. The festivities will include a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. honoring all football players, band members and cheerleaders from the 1960s and 1970s. The event is open to all Dacula alumni. Contact Dee Pickett at Dee_Pickett@gwinnett.k12.ga.us to reserve a spot. Peachtree Ridge baseball to host golf tourney Peachtree Ridge’s baseball program will host its fundraiser golf tournament on Oct. 17 at the Traditions of Braselton Golf Club. Falcons give grants to Duluth, Mill Creek USA Football and the Atlanta Falcons recently awarded football equipment grants to youth and high school football programs throughout the Atlanta are bsaed on merit and need, and two of the grants went to the high school programs at Duluth and Mill Creek. Each selected high school will receive a $1,500 package of football equipment and uniform options provided by Riddell.More like this story
