The Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale County Health Departments are now offering annual flu shots at their health centers to everyone six months and older.
This year’s vaccine includes three different flu viruses: an H3N2 virus, an influenza B virus and the H1N1 virus. The cost of the flu shot is $20, with cash and credit accepted. Health departments will also bill Medicaid, Medicare Part B and some private insurances. Appointments are not needed. The Gwinnett Health Department has clinic locations in Buford, Lawrenceville and Norcross. For location information, visit www.gnrhealth.com.More like this story
