Mrs. Helen Beatrice Brown Baer, age 80, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen J. Baer; and son, Charles Alvin Lewis. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine Bullard and husband, Ted Griffin, Marietta, GA and Helen Marie Chronister and husband, Daryl, Winder, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, John and Cheryl Lewis, Duluth, GA and James Donald Lewis, Jacksonville, FL; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Cora Lee Lynn, Buford, GA and Barbara Brown Hardwick, Rossville, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Baer was born November 28, 1930 in Buford, GA. She was a retired accountant from Sutherland Food Service. She was of the Baptist Faith. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at College Park Cemetery in College Park, GA with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Peachtree Christian Hospice in memory of Helen B.
