NORCROSS — Thanksgiving turned violent at a Norcross apartment complex Thursday night, where police discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Gwinnett County police responded to the Casas Los Pinos Apartments on Graves Road at 9 p.m., finding the Hispanic adult male victim “lying in the parking lot with at least three gunshot wounds,” spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said.

The still unidentified victim was taken to the hospital via ambulance while detectives and crime scene investigators processed the scene and interviewed witnesses, Smith said.

An update on the victim’s medical status was not available Friday, but Smith did say that detectives hope to interview him if his condition improves.

It was unknown if the shooting was the result of a robbery, domestic dispute or some other cause, Smith said.
