Martha Mccullers

Martha Mccullers

Martha Anne (McDougal) McCullers, 69, our most giving and loving Mother, Grandma, Sister, Aunt and Friend slipped from our arms to enter forever peace Saturday, November 20, 2010. She had the most vibrant personality and the most giving heart of any angel on earth. Stubborn as an ox, yet gentle as a lamb, she battled cancer twice in her lifetime, winning the fight once with her feisty nature and her faith in the good Lord. Even in the toughest of times, her humor never waned. Martha McCullers was one of a kind and her family and friends will truly miss her wit, her laugh and beautiful smile. She loved angels, and we will all miss her, our earthly angel, as she becomes our Guardian in Heaven, looking over us all. We will miss you more than words can say, but one day we will all meet again. We love you! She is survived by her loving family; 2 daughters, Jodi McCullers and Cyndi McCullers (Eric Keith); her son, Jeramy Johnson; her sister, Linda Bennett (Doug); a brother, Walter McDougal (Martha); 2 grandchildren, Joseph McCullers and Russell McCullers; a brother-in-law, Norman McClellan and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. McCullers; a sister, Carolyn McClellan and a grandson, Justin Keith. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27 at Zoar United Methodist Church Cemetery, Centerville, GA. The family will receive extended family members and friends one hour prior to the graveside services at the cemetery. Memorials may be made in memory of Martha to the American Cancer Society, 1430 Prudential Dr., Jax., FL 32207. Arrangements by Tim Stewart Funeral Home 670 Tom Brewer Rd.
