SUWANEE — Annie Wheeler scored 15 points and Lexi Brown helped with 14 points as North Gwinnett topped South Gwinnett 51-43 at the Bulldog Classic on Saturday.

GIRLS BASKETBALL Duluth 57, Hiram 46 DULUTH — Katie Powell led with 18 points for the Wildcats as Duluth took a 57-46 win over Hiram on Saturday. Norcross 56, McEachern 51 HOSCHTON — Norcross sophomore Diamond DeShields scored 28 points and had eight rebounds, four steals and two charges defensively to help beat McEachern 56-51 at the Mill Creek Tipoff Classic on Saturday. Dearica Hamby scored 11 points and had seven rebounds and Jasmine Kemp added seven points and had eight rebounds for Norcross (2-0). Mill Creek 61, Gainesville 29 HOSCHTON — Mill Creek beat Gainesville 61-29 at the Mill Creek Tipoff Classic on Saturday. Tamarr Williams scored 11 points, while Jasmine Carter contributed 10 points, five assists and three steals for the Hawks (2-0). Heritage 50, Mountain View 37 JEFFERSON — Mountain View lost to Heritage 50-37 on Saturday at the Tabo Holiday Tipoff Tournament. Jade Manning led Mountain View with 11 points and Emory Buckner scored nine, while Kiana Carmichael had eight rebounds for the Bears. Whitefield 45, Hebron 33 MABLETON — Jalisa Tucker led the Lions with 16 points and three steals but Hebron fell to Whitefield 45-33 on Saturday. Lacy Stephens had 10 rebounds and Tai Stringer scored seven points with eight rebounds for Hebron (0-2). North Springs 44, Archer 39 CUMMING — Archer fell to North Springs 44-39 at the North Forsyth Thanksgiving Tournament on Saturday. Kayla Rogers led Archer with 11 points and Kathryn Berry added seven for the Tigers (0-1). GAC 69, Jonesboro 29 LILBURN — Kristina Nelson scored 19 points and Sierra Lawrence added nine to help Greater Atlanta Christian earn a win 69-29 over Jonseboro at the Parkview Thanksgiving Tournament on Saturday. Wesleyan 64, Alpharetta 40 SUWANEE — Grace Leah Vaughn led the Wolves (1-0) with 20 points as Wesleyan defeated Alpharetta 64-40 on Saturday at the Bulldog Classic. BOYS BASKETBALL Berkmar 54, Salem 46 JEFFERSON — Brandon Thompson led the Patriots with 21 points as Berkmar took a 54-46 victory over Salem on Saturday at the Tabo Holiday Tipoff Tournament. Tyler Rogers scored 10 points, while Tim Rowe and Devon Campbell each added eight for Berkmar (1-0). North 64, Alpharetta 63 SUWANEE — A.J. Clements scored 20 points and Clayton Williams added 14 points as North Gwinnett defeated Alpharetta 64-63 on Saturday. Wesleyan 86, Duluth 78 JOHNS CREEK — Shane Smith and Ty Teague led Wesleyan with 19 points a piece as the Wolves took an 86-78 win over Duluth on Saturday at the Johns Creek Thanksgiving Tournament. Hudson Price scored 18 points and Will Clifton added 16 for Wesleyan. Avonte’ Hall led Duluth (0-3) with 19 points and Zane Cobb added 17. WRESTLING Meadowcreek finishes 2-for-3 NORCROSS — Meadowcreek won two out of three matches at the quad meet on Saturday with wins against Norcross (48-36) and Banneker (48-36) but a loss against Sprayberry (41-25). Dante Bennett went 3-0 for the Mustangs, who totaled 19 pins on the day. Norcross lost to Bannker (40-49) and to Sprayberry (60-15). Sprayberry also beat Banneker 55-24. Berkmar goes 2-for-3 CONYERS — Berkmar picked up wins at the East Metro Dual from Forest Park (42-30) and Cedar Shoals (48-36) but lost to Heritage (57-9), Dutchtown (48-30) and Winder- Barrow (49-30) on Saturday. Landon Dao (112 pounds) finished 5-0, Justin Malone (285) went 4-1, Phillip Nguyen (119), Oscar Chavarria (130), Eric Gil (152), and Jaime Cruz (215) were each 3-2 for the Patriots. Mountain View foes 4-for-7 SUWANEE — Mountain View finished fourth out of seven teams at the Lambert Duals on Saturday. Mountain View collected wins over Johns Creek (44-35) and Walnut Grove (51-27) and lost to Locust Grove (60-12) and Lambert (42-38).
